West Tamar Physiotherapy was first established in Exeter to provide Physiotherapy services to the West Tamar and surrounding regions. We now proudly offer the same quality services in three locations: Exeter, Legana and Riverside. We are a registered NDIS provider, GLA:D provider, and employ accredited PD Warrior trainers.

Hydrotherapy

A warm water therapy which can be used to treat a wide range of conditions including musckuloskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, osteoarthritis and spinal injuries.

Home Visits

Do you want to be more active but need additional support to do so? This service may be suitable for you. Please call our office to express interest about this service.

PD Warrior

An exercise program tailored to individuals living with Parkison’s Disease. This program is designed to improve function, quality of life, and long-term exercise behaviour.

Neurofit

A group class specific to those with neurological conditions. This class not only focuses on your physical fitness, but also challeges your brain and cognition.

Autism Swim

Swimming lessons which focus on specific Autism principles. The key areas covered are water safety, water therapy, and learn to swim.

Aquafit

A group exercise class which utilises water-based resistance, aerobic and balance exercise to help you build your strength and fitness. This class is run by a Therapy Assistant in a fun and inclusive environment.

Gym FIT

A circuit-based exercise class for those 50+ years old. This class focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility and heart and bone health to help you build confidence in completing everyday tasks.

Gym Group

A group for anyone who would like to be introduced or re-introduced to a gym environment. Staff members are present to support you throughout sessions and answer any questions you may have.
